To clarify, the 8GB P2 card does NOT come in the box when you purchase the camera. You have to fill out a rebate form online and mail in a copy of the invoice / bill of sale from an authorized Panasonic broadcast dealer, and they will send you the card through the mail.

If anyone quotes you a really low price and tries to pull a bait-and-switch by telling you at the last second that the price is for an "OEM" or "export" camera which doesn't include the battery, charger etc., walk away from the deal -- Panasonic doesn't sell their cameras that way.
