With The Adobe CS CS4 Suite coming out on 23rd September, what do you think they are going to do with new features.

I hope to God they improve the quality of the Media Encoder.

Sony EX3 in AE CS3

Sony EX3 in AE CS3

I just keyed a clip I shot with my Sony EX3 in AE CS3...no audio support but you are able to imported the whole bpav folder and drag the clip to new comp and go from there...

Or if you need to cut it first in Premiere then you can also export mxf and import the mxf folder and work with an edited clip that way...

Give it a try...

Did you notice the black frame every GOP? That's why AE doesn't work satisfactorily with XDCam footage. The only way to work with it is to decompress to AVI in Premiere and then work with the half-terabyte file in AE. :(

Don't you just hate having to do all these workarounds on software costing 1,000s......and LOTS of time.

Thats why as a starting point I'd like the Adobe software to support the EX1/EX3 codecs without problems.

Got to get some real time to test out various Picture Profiles this week......took footage yesterday with one setting and it thurned out as bluish as if I had shot it in the Antartic.

3200 White Balance setting is obviously unusable.
What do you usually leave your White Balance at in PPs? 4000-5000
