I downloaded the brochure for the HVX200 and saw "fixed" lens. Whats that mean. Whats the difference between fixed and adjusted? Thanks!

I'm not sure exactly what you are talking about when you reference adjusted lens, but a fixed lens means that you cannot swap out the lens on the camera with another one. The lens that comes with the camera is actually part of the camera and it doesn't come off.

Got ya. Would I be able to build a 35mm adapter though and use step down/up rings to attach to it??

I wish it were as simple as a step up ring. I don't understand why there hasn't been a camera with a built in 35mm adapter (no fixed lens) made yet. I understand they've made them with interchangeable lenses (of their own brand). But even owners of interchangeable lens cameras are forced to use 35mm adapters to use a lens on it.

Im saying. I have a JVC GZ-HD7, fixed lens, and I built a 35mm adapter for it. Can I do this with the HVX or is it different? Does the lens NOT have the ability to ADD lenses? Thanks!

There are multiple 35mm lens systems you can use with the HVX, so, in theory, if you know how to and get the proper stepdown rings etc it is possible to make your own 35mm adapter. I wouldn't even begin to know how to do that though. To be honest it might be more worth the money just saving for one while you get familiar with your HVX. Two more famous 35mm adapters that are used with the HVX are the Redrock Micro M2 35mm adapter and the Letus Extreme adapter.
