What's a Cylinder Head... anyway

Hey there!... I've got a problem. My camera displays a message that says that the Cylinder Head is dirty (a red circle with a X in the middle)... I don't even know what a cylinder head is... I bought the camera about one month ago and I'm kinda scared because is showing error messages so soon. My question is: What is a Cylinder Head? Is that a normal problem? Is that a serious problem? What can I do?

Thanks

Tape is recorded by being wrapped around a cylinder (actually called a drum), and having a record head spin about laying helical recording stripes across the tape as it moves around the drum. This means take your camera into a video camera store with a certified technicial and have the camera's heads cleaned. Although a relatively simple procedure that can be learned in a few minutes, it is better to have a pro do it and protect your camera's investment.
