I enjoyed your short. I'm a novice so my comments come from that POV. I have made two shorts and I'm working on a few more.

I liked the script and the concept. As we know, you can shoot on an iPhone if you have a great story.

I thought the performances were very good in some scenes, and then flat in others.

This is nit-picky but I thought the radio guys would know what to do for a call like this. I thought they'd have a way to switch the over-the-air broadcast to music or something while they keep the caller on the phone. Maybe the caller would know this and that could set him off even more.

I'm a fan of close ups and ECU, but I think you may have a few too many ECU of mouths.

Loved the time lapse, maybe a few seconds quicker though?

Sound was good on my earbuds.

Did you shoot in 24p? I watched it here embedded at 720p and when people walking around it felt a bit stuttery. May just be me.

Overall a very nice job. Let us know some production details. How long was the shoot? Crew? Any issues you had to work around?

sigamy, thank you for taking the time to check out my film. I appreciate any comments you have.

1. Glad you liked the story.

2. The actors would be glad to hear as they are not paid and this is a no-budget film.

3. I like this idea actually and does make sense but I never thought of it as I was not the writer and I was just following the script. But you make a very valid point if the writer chooses to make this into a feature to continue the story.

4 ECU shots...it was by design to have the ECU of the mouth...to creep people out. I actually had more but due to complaints I removed about 4 or 5 other shots of it :)

5. Agree on Time Lapse...that I pulled from a Youtuber...with permission of course.

6. Yeah on Sound!!!!! Finally!!!! That and lighting I try to work on the most but being director/editor/producer...sometimes gets over looked. Glad we pulled it off this time around

7. I shot at 1080i(60) which I think I rendered at 30fps. I have not noticed the blur you mentioned so maybe it is your PC? I do not know.

8. I have a production thread in my Signature...it is all in there. I think casting was the biggest pain this time around besides a couple misses on my shooting. But we worked through them all.

Thanks again for watching...always nice to get some good feedback.

Been a few months...maybe someone new would like to see what you can do with a HMC40. :)
