What will the retail price of the FS700 be?

I have heard that the suggested manufacture price of the FS700 might be as high as $10K.

But isn't the actual retail price usual a bit lower? If Manufacture price is at $10K, how much do you think somewhere like B&H will sell it for? The street price?

I have about an $8K budget limit. Not sure how much more I can do than that. Any chance the FS700 will come in at that price in retail?

I preordered the K version for 7900 € excl. VAT and Euro prices are often 1:1 with Dollar prices.

I'm a little confused on the 1:1 ratio

When you say that Euro prices are often 1:1 with the dollar price, do you mean that the USA counterpart would cost $7900 USA dollars also? Or would it be more since the Euro is so strong against the dollar.

Aren't prices in the USA generally a bit lower for electronics than Europe? Is that the reason for the 1:1 ratio?

Yes I mean 7900 $. I think prices are lower in the US because of higher customs duty in Europe
