What Web Browser to try now?

[Jim Brennan]

I use Camino, but I'm not sure if it runs on Windows.

I've never been able to like FF that much so I use IE. Right now I am on a beta release 8 but it has some bugs so if you plan on using it just go with 7 for now.

I actually liked FF for the most part, but that was when it worked right. Like I said, the last 2 revisions went downhill. I don't like I.E. for several reasons, but the Toolbars that don't stay gone just irritate me to no end.

Those of you using the less familiar browsers, please mention your OS, so I'll have an idea of compatibility... not like anyone else is still using 2K. Like Lynx and Camino, are they PC, Mac, or Linux?

[Jim Brennan]

I just checked and Camino is apparently just a Mac browser.

Give Opera a try, runs on any system with Win95 or later.

You can always try...

I've never liked Netscape. It was a nasty necessity when I was in College, and that was just another bad Mac memory for me. 10 years later, and I bought one of those Blueberry iMacs for my kids.
