What to do???

Ok so I shot a full length straight to dvd feature for Onyx films we wrapped Aug 1st and I still never got paid. What can I do besides call and leave nasty messages when they dont answer ????
 
What kind of agreement did you have with them? Was it on paper? Usually these things are spelled out ahead of time precisely so you don't have this situation.
 
Take the contract you signed with them to an attorney and ask, are they messing with me? Is this enforceable?
 
Yeah we signed an agremet for 100 dollars a day. He just wont answer my calls and when I actualy do get a hold of him he gives me some sob story about his car breaking down and not having my money but he will soon yada yada yada
 
Compare the total you're owed, with the fee an attorney will charge, to drop him a letter and make a couple calls.

Or, if the amount is large enough, and in arrears for long enough, contact a collections agency and see if they are interested in buying the debt offa you.
