what timeline settings to choose :(

I'm starting a new project in FCP with footage from a few different cameras

- 7D (shot in 720p)
- XF300 (shot in 720p with majority of shots at 25p and some in 50p for slow motion shots)
- HD GoPro (720p, 60 fps... and to make it more awkward it defaulted it settings to ntfs instead of pal)
- DVX/35mm adapter (25p, planning on uprezzing this to 720)

Any suggestions on whats the best settings to go for so I wont run into problems later on? I was originally planning on 720 / 25p (with the 50p shots slow downed), but only realized now that HD GoPro was set in ntfs and different frame rate...

I'd use ProRes, flavor of your choice, at 720p. The only issue will be your GoPro.

Do you mean NTSC? NTFS was a file system for Windows about 10 years ago.

You'll need to convert your NTSC footage to PAL in order to work with it alongside all your other footage. NTSC>PAL conversion is a tricky beast, and I'm not sure how best to do that.
