The screen grabs you used imo are a little generic. I don't mean you any offense. I just think it will be easier to get some constructive feedback when they are seen in the context of the moving images....and how they relate to each other.

I'd have to agree with disjecta. Also, I find the water bottles in the guys hand and computer screen in the background distracting and out of place. It looks like some suburban white boyz trying to act hard... but maybe that's the image you want. I'm basing this purely on what I see. Show us the vid when you're done.

That's nice except it looks like you applied a diffusion filter on the grab which is leaking out on the letterbox. Best to isolate the actual frame content, excluding the letterbox, and then apply the effect.

I like the look though...

Those look very cool, love the DOF with the girl. Look forward to seeing it!

Coltrain, WTF? That's like your 3rd smiley face only "opinion" today. What are your thoughts?

What color is the shirt? in the outdoor shots it looks blue, but in the bedroom shot it looks white. was the camera white ballanced? I also agree that the bedroom shot is distracting, with all the random stuff in the background. the light from the screen draws the eye from the subject.

is that protools running in the background?

the shot in the field, it's hard to tell if the tallent is in focus, or if the jpeg is just way too compressed. i'm guessing the latter, since the whole frame looks compressed.

Sorry, i used Vegas and didn't learn to make the best screenshots until NOW... lol. Thats me in the music video, its my music video/song and yes its pro tools running on the computer. Also the shirt is blue and I dont think combat did whitebalance in the house, oh well, alot of those shots probably wont get used, its all just staright raw footage anyway. Here is a quick video sample. but this is all im gonna show until the whole video is done :

I really like the pacing of the sample and those original screen shots may work in context IMO (that sort of pacing for example). Keep us posted!
