What tape are you using?

I am using a DVX100a for the first time next week and I ordered Panasonic MQ series tape...when I got the camera, the manual suggests "AY-DVM 30/60". I'm guessing/hoping that the MQ tape is fine....

Thanks! The Tape I ordered just came in and I see that it is AY-DVM63MQ.

I mistakenly thought that the "MQ" was a different tape than the AY-DVM.

i do use AY-DVM63MQ and I love them very much... now that you shoot with those, keep them. It's very important do keep the same brand of tape for the camcorder.

I'm close to 20 hours in using the Sony Premiums. With 2 hours of MQ in between there. They haven't let me down.
