What situations are darker than 60 Lux?

I noticed that some consumer camcorder like GS400 is said to produce good results down to 60 lux (according to camcorderinfo.com) and if that is correct, I´m wondering in what kind of a situations do I need better low light capabilities?

I would like among other things to film inside some museums and at home and I wonder whether a consumer camcorder like GS400 will be enought?
