Hey all, I am currently in the position to drop about 1500-1700 on new film gear.
I am deciding to either invest in a redrock follow focus with gears + a zeiss 50mm 1.4 (so 1500 for both)
OR I was also looking at a refurbished 5d mark II body, which is 1750 on canons website.
Alternatively, I was looking at upgrading my laptop to a newer 2011 model that would make editing way way faster.
Which one is the smarter purchase? Thanks
