what should be the new "rick roll"?

[CallaghanFilms]

...its gone from 'amusing' to 'starting to annoy' to 'just plain un-cool'...

You may be right...

The internet community should focus its energy on something a bit more constructive (or something that at least doesn't add to the "dumbing down" factor)

A Great article on just that...

I'm sorry for doing this to everyone but I think this should be the new Rick Roll: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpdOiq-2DFU LOL. I introduce to you Sir Ivan, aka "Peace Man". Sir Ivan is a man of peace he's also Peace Man. And a master at African dancing, even though he's quite Caucasian. But that's not the point. Watch Peace man in action. With all the charm of a cult leader, he will lead us to peace and hot chicks. (His two major loves in life).

Hey man! You jacked my link from the other thread! That's OK. I'm all for sharing the joy of Garbage Day. Have you seen the Garbage Day parodies? http://youtube.com/user/somethingday

It's like those Fabioesque paperback romance covers come to life.

How about one of these?
