What shotgun mic for HMC150

Hey guys im looking at getting a shotgun mic for my hmc150.
Im looking at spending around $200 - $300.
What do you guys recommend?

I use an Octavia M012a (Hyper) as my external mic.

If I can afford another mic for outdoor shots, I'll pick up a Rode NTG3.

Toward the lower end of your range are the Rode NTG1 and NTG2. The latter has an internal powering (AA battery) option. If only they'd put an on/off switch on it.

Also, do you want to shoot indoors, outdoors, or both with this mic?

Yeah im looking at an on camera mic.
I shoot inside and out and mostly shoot bmx.

Panasonic do a mic150 which is specific for the HMC150, do you think this would ok or would i be better off spending a little more and getting a Rode NTG-1 or NTG-2?
