What settings do I want to make sure skin tone is sharp?

I've been sooting a lot of interviews with my HMC-150 and the skin sometimes comes out almost fuzzy and out of focus. This is frustrating. What are the camera settings I want to be most attune to to ensure my interviewees faces are clear?

Is SKIN DETAIL = OFF? Cause if it is ON then it will reduce detail in skin tones (sounds backwards I know but that is how it works).

This setting is for when you want peoples skin tones to show less blemishes etc. Really noticeable if SKIN DETAIL is ON and your normal detail is cranked up since skin tones will have basically no detail added and everything else will have a ton added.

I'm aware of that trick. I'm just wondering if any of the other setting you can get to in the menu might also be useful.

Well, to be honest, I've never had a problem with faces being fuzzy and out of focus unless they were actually out of focus.

What are your current settings?
