I'm still developing my videography style, but as I'm experimenting, I keep getting awful camera shake. I'd like to start thinking about a support rig. I'm using a GH2 w/ FD mount primes.
I've got some super cheap stuff that I've tried, but it's just not doing hardly anything for me. I've looked at some of the DIY stuff, but it just doesn't look to attractive, and I'm pretty short on time. I'd much rather spend my time pumping out videos, than fiddling with my rig. I want it to just work.
That being said, I'm also on budget (like everyone!).
I'd like to end up with something with a follow focus, ability to handle a LED light, H1, and some extras in the future. I'd like lots of flexibility.
I like the looks of the dual handled, gunstock design, w/ a top handle. But, I don't have any experience with them.
Here's a sample of what I plan on shooting: fast paced production short-films, mini-interviews and documentaries, promotion work for gyms and non-profits.
I'd like to be able to quickly switch from my rig, to a slider, to my tripod.
THANKS!
L!
