What Nikon DSLR would you Suggest to use as B Camera to a HVX200?

Pretty much only the vintage lenses. Any full manual Nikon lens will work great on an EOS body or a m4/3 body.

Actually the GH1 is about $650 with no lens. For $1200 you get it and the 14-140mm f/5-5.8.

I stand corrected on the GH1 price. I guess I should have looked around more, yesterday, I saw prices on Amazon new wtout lens still at 1,100.

However, I was just trying to give some useful (personal experience) with shooting and work flow regarding the GH1 and T2i. That was a point JP was asking for :)

buy the way where can I get a new GH1 without lens for $650.00 from a reputable source
I might just pick up another as a standby.

There are a few eBay sellers who are authorized Panasonic dealers. Their body-only packages come with full U.S. warranties.
