GH4 What monitor for the GH4?

Yes i don't know why Peaking sensitivity set to 'low' is actually much better! Surely 'high' should be 'more pronounced'?

I find I use the 'symmetry' settings (0, -3, -5, -3, 0) and peaking works well, even on low con glass.

Would you mind sharing your calibration settings for your AC7 OLED? I'm having a tough time getting mine matched up with what I'm seeing in my GH4.

I can look, but I doubt that settings from one monitor are applicable to another. I calibrated based on the SMPTE target, which is very easy to do and only takes a few minutes to get dialed in perfectly.

my negative is that on "both" the EVF & LCD monitor the main "dial" for going thru the menu is really funky. its very erratic with not advancing much of the time as i roll the dial but eventually it gets there but its annoying to say the least. I've had mine for quite a few years but will say that they have not been heavily used and for both dials to be erratic with conservative usage i will be reluctant to buy from then again because of this.

That is too bad. I've had the exact opposite experience with quality. I dropped my camera from a pretty serious height straight onto concrete. The SmallHD monitor hit hard. The screen broke loose from the casing. First I was amazed that the screen didn't crack, but I doubted that would matter. I assumed it was dead. Amazingly, though, the screen popped back in snug, and the monitor powered on like nothing had happened. Other than the battle scars on the casing, it works as good as the day I bought it.
