What memory card for video on Canon 5D?

I am predominatly going to be shooting video (although i may do some stills shooting from time to time).

I just wondered what is considered to be a reliable memory card that won't fail on me.

I am prepared to spend money on this if it means not ever losing footage (although money is limited). But there would be nothing worse than losing any footage.

Also as i may be shooting features, short films and music videos, would you recommend just a coupke of large capacity cards, or more cards with a lower memory capacity (in terms of not putting all my eggs in one basket).

I hear a lot of good things about the sandisk extreme III. Can anyone confirm this, or let me know of better ones?

Also, can anyone offer me any info on batteries. If i am out shooting, doing long long days, would you think 2 batteries are enough or do I maybe need more?

Is it a good idea to use 2 batteries simultaneously (with a special gadget i can't remember the name of), or is that actually studpid as you could maybe be charging one whilst using one?

How much are new batteries?

Again any info would be appreciated.

Any info whatsoever would be good, thanks.

I use the Kingston 133x 32gig cards in my 7D. I have had several instances (more then I can count on my hands) of it dropping footage in both 720/60p and 1080/24p but it always happens within the first five seconds after I press record. Once I am rolling past that it has always been reliable.

I like the 32gig size for stills, but if I was doing strictly video I would go for 16gig or even 8gig cards and offload when needed.

I'll say, right now with the cards I have, I would not do a paying job where shi* is on the line if I don't get the shot. That said, I wouldn't do anything with my 7D if shi* was really on the line (one chance type shots and all.)
