I am going into the city, and I was hoping to find one at Circuitcity and Bestbuy but I checked there site, and they didn't have it listed. Any other known store that will carry this camera?

No department stores are authorized dealers. Neither is Costco.
By far your best bet is to order online from EVS or B&H.

hehe... I duno about in the states. Last month I "bought" a DVX from costco up here in Canada for a 2 camera shoot and then returned it the next week.
30 day return policy is much cheaper than $150/day rental.
But if this isn't your goal, then i would really recomend buying from a reputable online dealer, such as EVS.

Hey, even better, why not just shoplift it from Costco, use it for the shoot, charge the client rental, then return the camera to Costco for a refund? Great way to boost the profit margin!

Well said. I know that we all need to do things now and again to get by as indie filmmakers. Sometimes we even do things we aren't necessarily proud of in hindsight. But there is no need to use this site to promote this kind of illegal and unethical activity.
