I am not aware of any. I think there is still a large gap between prosumer and professional cameras (as awesome as the EX1 is). Most big productions I know of (if not using film), go with the higher end Cinealta cameras. The EX1, however, should start showing up a LOT soon on independent features. Right now I think it's still early. As far as affordable cameras being used in major productions, I think you will start seeing a lot of the Red One soon.
Yeah you might start seeing these cams used in conjunction with tv shows that shoot xdcam HD. They will probably use these for run and gun situations or b-roll. But I don't expect any major productions to use just these cams.
I haven't shot any "large-scale" productions with the XDCam EX, but I have put it to work shooting a classical symphony concert with a world-renowned cellist performing.
And then I also have my nature films that I've been steadily working on. My latest was Kent Falls, shot on March 30th. It's now up on Vimeo.com:
100% hand-held work, as I was returning from the tri-state trade fest in Falls Village, and didn't have my tripod with me. Despite that, I think I did a decent job of editing and the EX1 got some stunning images. Of the hour of footage I shot in various formats, I ended up using mostly the slo motion S&Q footage, as it looks more graceful.
I think we'll see a growing collection of scenic videos and travel logs now that this camera is at a size that is not totally impractical to carry around.
