Hey folks,
To those of you using Adobe Onlocation Cs4 - What Laptop/Notebook are you using?

I'm talking more about processors, ram and hard drive speeds.

Thanks

Hey Erdiaz,
Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.

It would be VERY nice if you could record something for a couple of minutes and report back the following:

1. Checking the performance monitor in task manager while recording DVCPRO-HD, what percentage of the processor is being used to do this? Please be sure that you have all of your waveforms and monitor enabled.

2. Does the monitor give you real-time playback while recording?

3. How much ram is being utilized?

4. Are you having any problems with dropped frames or anything?

5. What is the model number of your processor?

That's all I can think of. If you get a few minutes, I would REALLY appreciate it!

Thanks

ok, let me finish a project and this weekend I´ll do what you ask for.

Right now I can answer:

2. Not really, in full HD (1920 x 1280) and depending of the subject and movement, scatter some pictures in display only, not in the recording.

4. I have never loss any frame.

5. One is AMD XP 1 core, 2.2 Ghz and the other one is a AMD turion 2 core, 2 Ghz; don´t know how to get the model.

Thanks buddy,

To get the model of your processor, it should show up under Start > Accessories > System tools > System information. It will pop up a window that gives you a rundown of your PC configuration.
