What is wrong with these DVX100 rebates?

Seriously, what is wrong with these DVX rebates and promotions. I bought my DVX100b on July 7th, did the online form. I got my package today and it consisted of Barry's DVX100 book and DVD and an opened version of Magic Bullet editors 1.1 (1.1 fer chrissakes!!!) No Instant HD no $350 rebate. WTF is going on? This is ridiculous. Has anybody else had this problem?

So I called the rebate toll free number and was told, that I would get the Instant HD and the Check doesn't clear for 6-8 weeks or some such thing. Okay fair enough that was painless, but what about this copy of MBE? I was told that they only send what they are given. I don't know who "they" are (either Panasonic or Red Giant), but I don't think they would be in the habbit of sending opened versions of outdated software. This is my major gripe with rebate companies they will always try and cut you out of what you are owed in one way or another, even if it's the tiniest thing,

Anyway I was given the e-mail of someone at Red Giant who might be able to help me

Click on "over $900 in cash.." then download the rebate form, fill it out send it in, and depending on how busy they are you will get your rebate in a couple of weeks

Normally I would have done that, but I was informed that this would be easier, but what's the difference? None I suspect. They both go to the same rebate company, with the same information. Eh, I can't really send it in now that I've already filled out the online one.

I bought my DVX at the end of February. So, I'm no where near being eligible for that offer. I wish though.

I bought from newegg back in June. Only took a short time to arrive (7-10days). Got the MBE 2.0, book and HD yesterday. Hoping to get the c heck soon. Good luck.

I bought my 100B from B&H back in early May. I got two copies of the DVX Book & Magic Bullet.

No check yet. Getting frustrated.

I bought my DVX online from Willoughby's. They had the best deal online and they are an authorized dealer. My DVX came like the next day. If you call them over the phone you might be able to cut your deal even more. Evsonline is good but more pricey. Good Luck!

Same with me, I got my camera back in February. It took forever to get the rebate check, which was considerably less than $350 and BTW what the hell is Instant HD?
