what is with the audio delay with the DVX100a?

I have a DVX100 and don't get an audio delay but with my new DVX100a i get an audio delay in the Progressive advanced mode. How are people dealing with this issue? I'm concerned that the audio feedback will be recorded with my mic.

agreed. it takes a little more processing on those selections and the analog audio out has to go thru a couple more conversions before it hits the headphone amp. rest assured as dan stated it will not be recorded that way....
