What is transfering scene files?

Stupid question but I'm not sure what it means to transfer scene files. I tried it accordingly to the manual but I don't think it's doing what I think it's suppose to.
Doesn't this mean to transfer my scene file settings(detail level, master ped, temp., gamma) from one camera to another? Can someone better explain to me what it is and what I'm suppose to end up with. thanks ya.
 
Yes that's what it does. It only works on the DVX100B, and only if the camera is connected via firewire to another DVX100B. In that scenario, yes you can transfer your scene file settings from one DVX100B to another.
 
so after the transfer i'm suppose to turn off the receiver camera, when i turn it on am i suppose to load the scene files or is it the preset/default already?
 
It's been a while since I've done it but I'm pretty sure that they'll just already "be there"; you shouldn't have to load anything.
 
y dont u just look at one dvx's lcd, read the numbers, and change the numbers on ur second dvx? or get a frend to call otu the numbers (and words)?
