Ever seen or heard of this?

The description sounds like a sort of Steadicam, but I can't see how the device they show could ever function as one.

Hmm.,. interesting idea.

It looks like the camera "hangs" on the tilt axis, keeping "tilt" stabilized (but not controlled, it will only ever look level, I dont' think you can tilt by hand.)
Pan and roll you are on your own still though I think.

Looks liek prety high quality manufactureing. - Maybe a little too mugh for what it does, hard to say.

I wonder what they will charge for it?

According to whois, this site was registered in March '05, so I get the impression that "will charge for it" should be "planned to charge for it." Site looks a bit dead to me.

Whois means nothing more than forsight form the person who registered.

camerasupports.com is a nice domain, worth jumping on the minute you think you might want it.
