What is this rubberlike flooring?

What is this? Saw it in the entrance vestibule at a walmart. I asked the remodel guy and he said the sheet just said "rubber flooring".
It is thin and was installed on top of the concrete floor.
It's non-slip and quiet. Has a little bit of give when you push on it. Seems tripod dolly could roll on it pretty well.
Also seems someone could fall and fair much better than falling on concrete.
I'm thinking it would be good on top of the concrete floor that joins against the white cyc floor in a studio, where the crew work?
And also good to take a smaller strip of it with me for my mobile video booth where people get rowdy and the floor gets wet. floor1.jpg floor2.jpg

It may be something like this ---

Side note - last Tuesday at a hospital, when I was about to be wheeled into the operating room, I was told to take off my Crocs and put on special anti-slip socks. The socks has a certain pattern made from ... plastic? ... sewn in at the soles. Of course, after inhaling what I was told was Oxygen, I never consciously left the bed/gurney.

Hi thanks DLD. I read on another thread about you. Are you still doing better? Is your admirer still contacting you discreetly?

Your link looks good and useful and is poured into place wheras the flooring I posted above comes in rolls

Those types of socks work well; I have several kinds from different places but some of them have a rubbery plastic sewed in.

And similar rubber flooring is also common at sports complexes for cleats & spikes.

I think you found it Paul!
Thank you!
The man in the middle section is standing in the "work space".
Would you recommend covering that middle section (30') to the cyc floor?
I do plan on parking vehicles on this such as my van and we may rent a scissor lift at times

Not since my hospital stay.

And I'm doing a lot better but still waiting for the biopsy results. Oy.

I think it depends on a desired permanence and the budget of the installation. The material itself is probably fairly similar.

DLD I'm glad you are lot better.

I see some possible advantages in the pour on flooring, and seems when finished they are similiar

Thank you

So, I close Firefox where I do most of my browsing, including DVXUser, click on M'Soft Edge, where I have my Facebook account --- and almost immediately see an ad for rubber flooring.

Cue in Rockwell.

They have the rubber flooring avail in
5mm, 1/4" , 8mm , 3/8" and 1/2"
What thickness do you think for the camera crew working on, rolling cameras, carts, parking vehicles and occasional scissor lift (possibly)

It's difficult to say without knowing the durometer of the material or having any actual experience with it. But my guess is that the thinnest would be best. 1/2" would be very bad. Have you ever walked on carpet with 1/2" padding?

Get samples.
