What is the Mojo for???

Is the Mojo only for converting VHS tapes to a digital signal?? Does it really help if you only edit mini DV??

It allows for almost everything that you do in Xpress Pro to be real time. No rendering for the majority of effects. No rendering to go out to tape. This is in addition to be a composite / S-Video / Component breakout box. It also allows for client monitoring in sync with your timeline.
