What is the best method of capturing Single image from footage to use in Photoshop?

Could you please let me know what is the best method of capturing a single image from a footage with the higest resolution for usage withing the Photoshop?

What NLE are you using? Most NLEs have an "export still frame" option int he export menu. Us it to export a still-frame as a file that you then open in PS.
