I don't have a problem with JES workflow as I use it all the time for hv20, but what do I need to unwrap the footage for JES, and will the same program work for hacked native 24p files. I've demo'd ClipWrap on GH2 footage and it works fine, but they still claim issue with GH1. I've read the Voltaic Thread and it seems perfect, one step, but the current release does not support 10.4, is it possible to get a previous release. Same goes for Toast, need 10.5 for HD feature set. Even if it was possible to source a 10.5 disk, I'm hesitant to do so as my system is perfectly stable, and still running legacy programs like Shake.
I don't need the latest and greatest, I'm perfectly happy with the quality I get from hv20 and AIC, the cheap GH1 seems the ticket for low budget shallow DOF. I want to be able to test the native camera before hacking, for locked off close-ups it may be good enough for my uses.
