I was testing some shots for a new shooting, smooth travelling tight shots of a bottle.

So i set my HVX200A to 1080i 60i on video mode with no shutter.

When i watched the takes with P2Viewer, i found that the bottle was full of horizontal lines and the shots were a bit choppy.

What is that and how can i get rid of it ?

How can i upload a bigger pictures...?

Couldn't really tell from your picture, but if you were shooting in flourescent lighting you would want to use 1/60 shutter. If the clips play back smoothly in camera, I would suspect your computer may not have enough horsepower to smoothly display full 1080 clips. Without knowing more about your system, I'm just offering a guess.

The choppy think is not a big deal compare of all these lines on the bottle. There is no artificial light on the shot, only natural light...and i did a very very smooth travelling with a table dolly.

My new contract is about wine and, from now, i can’t get no clean details in close up with my HVX while travelling...

My computer is an HP DV4 an intel core duo2 T6600 with 4g of ram, footage on an external HDD via Esata.

Try shooting in 30p instead of 60i, and see if the movement is still choppy and if there are still interlacing issues (which is what it sounded like you described). And add that 1/60 shutter.

the dark lines across the screen are indeed from the florescent light, if that;s what your talking about, and there's nothing you can do to fix it unfortunately.

Actually, like i wrote in post 3, there is no light on this shot, so no florescent light added.

It look like to be a very bad ''interlacing'' issue, Thanks to grimrebes.

As soon as i get time, i will do more test and keep you post.

I don't know what is going on with the problem, I just wnat to tell you that havana is my favorite RUM, man. And 7 years, the best! Cheers!!!

well, the artifacting looks like simple interlacing issues. but since its only happening on the foreground objects i think it may be a perfect storm of bad situations.

2 things:

try shooting again, same situation, same settings but shoot progressive
try shooting again, same settings but use a green bottle
