What is a used 100a + LA7200 worth?

Looking for a 100a I found both on eBay. Yeah, I know about the dangers of eBay, but the seller is local so I could pick it up and examine it at that time. My problem is, I'm not sure how much is too much to bid.

I know the old saw about an item is worth only what someone is willing to pay for it and the real question is what is it worth to me. Sure, I'd like to have the LA7200 but my bottom line is a 100a that doesn't cost too much.
 
To answer my own question apparently it was worth $2600 including a Pelican case. That was the price that sniped it away from me in the last few seconds of bidding.

Back to searching for a camera. I've got a wedding in 3 weeks and a convention to shoot in 4 weeks, so I can't wait long!
