i need a cheap lcd, preferably under $100 for my dvx. i want to mount it on my camera, and be able to flip it for my 35mm adapter.

ive been using the hack method but it broke my lcd and i had to pay $200 to fix it so i really need to buy a lcd.

anything not smaller then the dvx lcd would be great. so like anything between 3.5in and 6in. anything bigger is just anyoing.

and im talking cheap, i need something small and cheap, i don't need to color correct or anything, just so i can see the image.

ya so if anyone knows anything like this, that would be great, or if there is a thread on this, could someone lead me to it? i couldn't find one.

what about using a portable dvd player that has a video input? they cost less than $200 new, or $50-$60 on ebay, the screen is 7-9 inches, plus it swivels around and folds down, so you can flip it for your adapter.

dvd players are too big... why can't they just make like a 4in thin lcd. i mean a psp is like 5in and smaller then any lcd ive ever seen. i just wish a psp had a video input

Yes... although I don't know how long it would last. Maybe a couple hours at most.

I have one of THESE I picked up off of ebay for $40. I think I got lucky though, cause you don't see them very often on ebay, and when you do, there over $80.

others have bought the Lilliput from ebay.
Have no idea what the image quality is though.

The description has it "Capacity of battery: 1800mA"
Translates into 1-2 hours run time only, depending on your monitor power needs.

see i dont get any of this stuff, i need some major help.

this is all the information i can get on the screen

What battery would work for this??

They did not provide this info, probably they just did not know. The IKAN that Jason mentions uses 7W (or about .6A). Using this number for ballpark calculations, a 6 AH battery would give you very long run time of 10 hours.
The Bescor http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...NC_HP_3XLRNC_Starved_Electrolyte_Battery.html or similar should run it for about 5 hours.
HTH

wow, umm see all that is kinda too much weight. I basically do all hand held shooting because i'm mostly shooting skating (yes i shoot skating with a 35mm adapter... im dumb) Can this battery even mount to the camera?? i really need one under $50 that will, and 2-4 hours is plenty long enough for me.

Id rather buy 2 or 3 really small cheap, 1-2 hour lasting batteries so i can swap, rather then one big one.

So i can further search this myself. how can i determine how long the battery will last, and what specs should i look for to work with the lcd
