what if the hack doesn't work? can reset?

before i try this hack on my GH1, is the fact that my body firmware is 1.2 sufficient?
do i need to upgrade the firmware to 1.32 before applying the patch?

Also, if the camera is not usable, or something doesn't work, is there a way to reset the camera to it's factory default and erase the firmware?

It gets upgraded to 1.32 along with the hack. Yes you can reset it back to factory simply by reloading the hack with nothing besides prevent version compare checked.

What's with all this 'reloading the hack' and 'version compare' stuff?

If the first two boxes are checked when applying the hack ( 'version increment' & 'prevent version compare') then the hacked firmware will always show 0.0, no matter what you called your firmware update.

Because it's v0.0, you simply take the official firmware (v1.32), stick it on the card in the usual way, and update.

No need to use the hack interface.

I'm assuming that camera doesn't maintain any change logs - if not, putting the official v1.32 f/w on will make the use of the hack undetectable. (?)
