What, I only get one hack? Serious Problem!

Ok, so I finally got around to trying the hack on my GH1, and I thought I'd go slow and gradually check out the footage as I increased the bitrate. HOWEVER, after my first successful hack, my camera doesn't seem to want to upload any more firmware. I keep increasing the firmware number, but when I hit the playback button, it acts like it isn't there. I just says, 'no valid picture to play'. I didn't check the 'prevent version compare' button on the first hack, but It sounds like I could do that anytime.

I have PTool 3.40d
my camera ssn starts with WE9
I'm starting with GH1__132.bin

What is going on? Now I can't even revert to my original firmware. The real problem is that my hacked firmware freezes, even though i only increased it to 22MBit.

Can anyone help me?

thats the first thing you should check when doing the patch. do you remember what increment you set to? tried a camera reset? tried formatting the sd card?

You probably haven't ticked the first two boxes, which disables the checking of previous versions, and set the current firmware version to 0.0

If you didn't do this, then you would have hacked the 1.32 as 1.33,
then when you try to reload 1.33, with the version ALREADY 1.33, it will not update.

Another possibility is that you don't have a fully charged battery.

Could you go into technical details? I'm curious.
As you make use of your camera, electrical power is required for the operation of its electronic circuitry. This power is drained from the rechargeable battery inserted into the bottom compartment of the camera. As electrical power stored in the battery is drained, the camera continuously monitors the charge remaining in the battery. When the battery is drained to approximately 67% of its full charge, the camera disables the software routine which updates its internal firmware from an image stored on an inserted SDHC card. This insures that the camera will have access to enough battery power to complete its firmware update process.
