What hypercardioid mic/mics are you using?

[logan3000]

I have a simple question. What hypercardioid mics are you using? I've been shooting with a nice shotgun mic in and outdoors, but I want to get a hypercardioid mic for a project I am about to begin. Just giving a model number would be fine, but if you want to elaborate, or have used multiple models, that information would be appreciated. This would help anyone who reads the thread, not just me. Thanks.

I use the oktava mk012a from sound room. I've been pleased with the results. You probably also want to consider getting the bbg with it and possibly the windjammer too.

Same here. Great mic for the money. But, get it close to your subject.

I use the akg ck93 and periodically the 91 (cardioid cap). Both sound great. The 91 is handy on sit down interviews with the mic on a stand and boom. Gives me a little wider window to work with for those that like to bobble their heads around...

Senn. MKH50

Its actually classed as a supercardioid but indoors its my preference.

AKG CK93 here.

Oktava mk012. Nice mic, but it's very sensitive to handling noise.
