What HVX200 settings to match Varicam 3700?

I need to shoot a few CU and ECU shots for a project primarily shot on a Varicam 3700. I'm sure it will not be a perfect match, but should I consider some settings on the HVX200 to get it as close as possible.

Negative gain, higher chroma, raise the blacks, light the scene brighter, close the iris down to f5.6 or higher, ect?

Does anyone have a secret formula?

I think your camera set up is going to depend greatly on how the 3700 was set up. How were the scene files on the 3700 set up? How was the shot painted? What was the lighting like? A lot of questions to be answered before coming up with a solution that will work for you. Can you post a raw image somewhere from the 3700?

Thanks, Jim for chiming in. I managed to get a close match. While shooting on the HVX, I managed to also pump footage shot on the Varicam 3700 through a portable HD monitor for comparison sake. Then I took the HVX footage to a portable edit system and put the shots back to back on the timeline. They are a close match. All the footage was converted to ProRes HQ to match the Varicam import.

Reducing the HVX200's signal noise was the biggest issue. They shots required were only CUs, so it made things easier. I don't think I could pull off a match with wide interior shots.
