Ban Me Please!
Hello all,
I'm new to Final Cut Pro and so is my company. We are also more savy about the PC world, so we haven't been able to figure out what we're doing with FCP because things are moving so fast and now I've screwed everything up.
We were having a bunch of odd problems with capturing and TV playback, etc. We tried everything that we could find research on and things were still going strange.
Since I upgraded to 4.5 I had the smart idea to re-install 4.0 and see if that would help our immediate problems. Well as most of you are probably already stating that might not have been the smartest thing to do. Even though I copied all my files to a my external drive and internal drive..nothing will play back in 4.0. It says my files are corrupt...so all seems to be lost.
I know I've probably made some terrible nebie mistake, but I'm up **** creek because our first spec commercial was almost done with editing.
Any feedback on if there is something I'm overlooking to get my stuff to work or at least tell me where I've messed up would be appreciated.
This is an unfortunate side effect of moving to fast too soon.
Best regards,
Jason
PS-Any editing pros in the Phoenix area that might want to help us out for a reasonable price to help us get on our feet. ?
