What happened to Luis? I need my Carrion serviced.

I am growing a bit concerned as I have emailed Luis twice, with no answer, and his cell phone is apparently no longer using the same number.

One of my monitors is no longer working and I need it serviced. So is it safe to assume that Luis has bailed on us? I haven't seen him around in months.

Good luck on that man! He still hasn't fulfilled his order of New carions...some people have been waiting a year now and still no monitor...

Ironically, Luis actually called me (from his usual cell number) today. I hadn't talked with him in some months; he seems to be doing well so I'm not sure what the problem is? Anyone who has any issues should try calling him again.

I tried the old number that he gave me when I ordered the monitors, and left him a message. There is no personal greeting though, so I have no idea if that is still his number or not. He has yet to return the call or respond to my emails.

Ok, looks like I'm on my own with this thing. Does anyone know if this monitor is serviceable by anyone else? If not, I guess this one goes in the trash and I have to replace it. But I have another shoot coming up in 2 weeks that will require both of my monitors.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks,
Brad

Don't toss it! Check over at reduser.net- somebody else from another company has serviced Carrion monitors in the past. I don't remember who it was, but I recall the info being buried in one of the many "Where's my Carrion...?" threads... Good luck-

UPDATE:
Ok, I found the company that actually manufactured the main board for the monitors and they were able to repair the monitor. It only cost me $150 for the repair and it works like new again.

If anyone is interested, here is the link to the mfgr, as well as the manual for using the menu system (which I asked Luis for on numerous occasions...).

Thanks for posting this info, Brad. My Carrion has held in there (knock on wood) but great info for those of us that have gambled money on the Carrion. Despite how well the monitor works, my next one will be a Panasoni.
