What genre?

I am going to post on zed but it wont fit any of their genre descriptions. With that in mind I shall post in the spirit of PK's suggestive wit

Another Minosky reel!

Perhaps since the avatar has had a coming of age, it would be a Coming-of-Mino story?

Yeh...It's been seven years since the bank job so I figure it's safe to show my face again:evil:

yep..it was me when I was 3 or 4 years old. It's taken another 47 or 8 years and a lot of bad food to create the new avatar:laugh:

I'm curious about the genre of a small piece I'm building. If one shoots footage of a certain place ie. park or roadside attraction, or anyplace and set the clips to music with some narration that doesn't necessarily describe the piece, but instead describes feelings invoked by the footage itself, what genre does that fall into? Is it a documentary film, experimental...What? I know it's not sci-fi or drama, but how would one classify it?

Would the genre be the same if there were no narration only music?

Harlan Ellison did an essay about the importance of sex, violence and labor relations. His example of the importance of labor relations was his first day as a writer at Disney, where he jokingly expounded upon a Mickey Mouse f*ck film at lunch. He did not finish the day out as an employee in Uncle Walts world. In other words, when at Disney, never f*ck with the mouse!
