what firmware!

Keep looking in the menu. You'll find it....it says "Firmware" if I remember correctly.

You should familiarise yourself with every single menu item anyway, so...get cracking!

Oh, and fingers crossed it's anything but v1.34

Your right! Firmare is in set up menu on "version disp." My version say 1.3! So that mean its hackable? Omg! I'm happy if that's hackable. Only $399 I pay! Lol. I hope its hackable! Its hackable? Version 1.3.

1.3 can either mean "1.32" (hackable) or "1.34" (not hackable) give the hack a go if it does not update then you may have a unhackable one

I check serial # and camera manf is 2009 so it a hackable. But probably I won't hack because no need. But still happy!

well there ya go. i am surprised 09 model has v1.3 out of the factory unless its jap model that everyone is selling off on ebay with hack applied for english menu.
