What Firmware Version you are?

Great question. I'm having a difficult time tracking down any firmware info from Sony. A web address with firmware support for the EX-1 would be greatly appreciated.
 
I bought my EX1 in Feb and having V1.03 something. I called up local Sony and they told me not to upgrade if there isn't any pblm with my EX1. My question is if future firmware can solve pblm like battery leak or support 3rd party SxS card, should I upgrade the firmware? By upgrading the firmware, will I encounter back focus or vignette pblm instead? is there a fallback to current version if new ones prove to cause more issues? SO far i am quite fortunate as I do not have those issues

Hi, I can't find where to find out what firmware I have on my camera. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Mine was upgraded to 1.05 in mid March on it's last trip to Sony.

I have a hunch the battery drain down will be a hardware issue that requires a costly retrofit, not a firmware update to fix.

Firmware can be read from the Maintenance menu. Press Menu Sel/Set and Cancel buttons simultaneously to enter this mode. There is an info screen near the bottom of the options which reports the firmware version.
