What file format to archive to dvd?

Hello there,

So ive made a few videos and now I want to archive my material. What is the best way for this? I have decided to store to dvd at the moment and just wondered what the is best format to export from Compressor from FCP. My original footage is from the EX1. Would 10-bit uncompressed be the best???? I havent got a clue. I have been searching about but cant find what format everyone is using.

We archive the original XDCam folders to DL DVD. The Clip Browser lets you split them to convenient DVD-R sizes, BD-R sizes, or any arbitrary typed-in value. Then these folder sequences can be written to optical discs. Works pretty good. Will be even better when 16X BD-R discs become available.
