What ever happened to Vidled?

[Terry_Lasater]

Not sure how many here remember DVXuser 'vidled', but he offered small, battery-operated LED lights before they became as popular as they seem to be now. A search of his profile shows he hasn't posted since April 2012. At one time, he was a sponsor here.

He still has a website up with a list of products for sale although it doesn't appear to be updated for quite some time. The last update appears to have been January 2009.

There is a telephone number listed. I could try to call but I don't know him. So, I thought I'd check here first to see if anyone might know him. Just thought if he were still in the development/fabrication business, it would be nice to know what he's up to.

Sorry, I don't know him either, but I just used my Vidled today on a shoot. Still works great after six plus years. Great product. Would love to have him back on the market and making other fixtures.

Those lights were built so well.

I remember the owner had issues trying to get components to build the lights. But that was years ago.

Rock slid lights.

Built like a soviet tank.
