What DVD Format Should I Use

Hi, i edited a wedding video with final cut pro and exported it to DVD Studio Pro, My Question is should i use DVD-R or DVD+R DL because my project is about 32 GB and i want to keep the highest quality picture on the dvd because as you guys know dvd-r is 4.7GB and Dual Layers are 8.5GB. What do you guys think?

Thank you for your time

It depends how long it is. You can fit about two hours of good quality video on a single layer DVD-R and four on dual layer.

target bitrate = disc capacity / running time. Anything above 3 Mbit/s is fine, but cheap consumer codecs are not as good as high-quality ones used in Hollywood, so I prefer to use as high bitrate for DVD-video as possible (max allowed by spec is 10 Mbit/s).

Even Hollywood movies typically run more than 9 Mbps
