what does the miniDV footage look like?

I'm sure there are lots of us out there that will still have some clientel that only has the budget for miniDV. Haven't heard what it looks like...can we expect basically the same quality as the DVX100A?
 
? Did I do any slow-mo miniDV stuff? I don't remember.

I now have a production model, so I can do some DVX/HVX DV side-by-side stuff if I ever remember to actually do it... :)
 
Yeah - remember the 720p slowmo of the pomegranate juice? Didnt you downconvert that to minidv tape and bring it in? Looked cleaner than DVX tho it was from a HD source. Plus, the CCD's are native 16x9 so for wide footage, it should look better. :)
 
I guess I brought it in through miniDV -- don't remember exactly. But if so, that wouldn't be representative of what the through-the-lens DV looks like...

Haven't shot any DV with it yet, so I can't really comment on how the DV looks. I'll side-by-side it with a 100B eventually...
