What does term "sticks" stand for?

[hellboy80]

I just saw Vincent Laforet's webinar about HDSLR and he was often mentioning the term "sticks" or "set of sticks". What does it mean? Tripod? Rig?

[Mike Harvey]

I'm going to assume tripod... that's what me and most people I know are referring to when we say "sticks".

It is your tripod.

If you're separating the terms, sticks can also refer to just the tripod legs.

Ok, thanks.
