G'day all!
A lot of you have found the Lanparte V-Mount Power Supply kits (http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthrea...-sink-from-one-v-mount&highlight=kitchen+sink) to be a well priced and decent power supply solution for your rigs.
However, there are some niggling problems with the kit with the foremost being the lack of a proper adapter for the GH2 (although easily remedied with $2 in parts, it's still a pain).
I'm in the unique position of being able to influence what inputs and outputs will be present in the "next version" of the kit and whilst I can give my input for my own kits (5D Mk II, Monitor and Mic) I thought it would be good to get some ideas from everyone else.
For the moment, it comes with:
2 x 12v output
1 x 7.2v output (actually 8.4v)
1 x 5v output
1 x 15v output
1 x 16.4v input (directly from the V-Mount/AB battery)
HDMI Splitter
Essentially; what are you lacking/missing from your power supply?
What outputs/inputs would be great?
The current outputs are also via basic DC connections with the latest version looking at 4-pin XLR instead.
I'll happily fight for any features to be added so fire them away (even if they're straight out of left field!) and we can make a good product even better.
