i use an intel xeon dual core 3ghz processor with 8gb ram. editing hd was a bit slow b4 the upgrade so i'm yet to test it.....but if you want real time hd editing consider 32 gb ram when adobe brings out cs5 with the adobe mercury playback engine....hopefully i'll be up to 12 gb by then..
